THE HISTORY OF DRURY LANE BOOKS

Drury Lane Books was founded Joan M. Drury in 2002, author and former publisher of Spinster's Ink. After Joan's death in 2020, her   children Kelly and Kevin Kager took ownership and the store continues to be managed by Gwen Danfelt.

The historical building sits  near the shore of majestic Lake Superior.  Our little store was originally built as the Mayhew Family home, and has housed numerous shops including Pioneer House Gifts and Sivertson's Gallery. We continue to stock across all genres, with a variety of new titles and old favorites.
